I had the opportunity and pleasure of working for Fashion Designers of Latin America, (FDLA) founded by executive producer Albania Rosario this season as part of their in house content creation team. I was able to capture images from fitting day to the backstage hustle and bustle of show day. To be surrounded by such an amazing team of creatives and strong women was truly an honor and an experience to remember.

While the main shows remain on the catwalk, the streets of the city transform into runways of their own. New York Fashion Week is when the fashion industry’s most stylish run from event to party to runway show wearing their very best; nothing is too bold or too out-there, and absolutely everything is fair game. When you look around, it’s impossible not to feel the shift in everyone’s attire. The season’s hottest trends are on full display—and some new ones are predicted, too.

American designer, Pamella Roland’s wanderlust and love of travel often influences her eponymous brand, with last season’s collection being a nod to Morocco. This year she draws her inspiration from a recent trip to Belgium. Paying tribute to the country’s history as the crossroads of Europe, Roland delivered a collection that fuses the continent’s historical elegance and channels Belgium’s beauty through each gown.
